Yoga at Inner Balance Pelvic Health & Wellness Center will feature therapeutic and specialty classes. We are building a schedule that will include hip strengthening classes, bone health classes, classes for larger bodies, restorative yoga and more. These classes will be taught by experienced and compassionate instructors in small groups to ensure that you are taken care of.  Stay tuned for our full schedule of therapeutic and specialty classes!

Yoga for Anxiety

A FOUR-WEEK THERAPEUTIC WORKSHOP, WITH DR. MAURA SULLIVAN

4-week workshop series to learn restorative yoga postures, breathing exercises, meditations, and mudras specific to anxiety reduction. The workshop is structured as a twenty-minute educational session focused on understanding the mind/body connection and learning about how the nervous system responds to stress and how yogic practices can reduce this response. We will learn and practice asana, meditation, and breathing sequences to reduce anxiety. The workshop concludes with twenty minutes of processing your questions and discussing your experience of the practice. A home study component will be provided so that you can continue to practice throughout the week and bring questions to the next session. This workshop is open to all especially individuals new to yoga and mind/body therapy for anxiety reduction. Whether you are coping with daily stresses and hassles or have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder this workshop can provide you with accessible and practical strategies for immediate anxiety relief. Limited to 8 participants.
