Margaux Maertens, RYT 200
Margaux was introduced to yoga in 2007. Dealing with personal obstacles, Margaux used yoga as her way of not only strengthening her body but also strengthening her mind. She fell in love with and continues to practice various styles such as Vinyasa, Iyengar, Bikram, Restorative and Ashtanga. Margaux graduated from Yoga On The Hill’s 200 hour Teacher Training in 2014. Margaux’s classes provide the opportunity to step away from all of life’s happenings and focus on the self. She loves to explore with a variety of postures and sequencing making her classes unique every time. She always reminds her students that yoga is a personal practice and to explore their mind and body in their own way. When she’s teaching yoga, Margaux is finishing up her studies in psychology with a goal of eventually opening up a facility that combines yoga and counseling for eating disorders. Margaux hopes to share her love of yoga with anyone who chooses to join her on the mat!
